Big Lottery Funding (11/07)
We are absolutely delighted to announce that we have received £113,000 funding from the Big Lottery Fund. This, along with generous funding from other organisations including Spifox, Sport Scotland, The Robertson Trust, The Toby Trust and The Foundation for Sport and the Arts, has enabled us to purchase our own yacht for Season 2008.
Every penny that is donated to Able2Sail is invested in to our sailing programme and does its bit to provide wonderful sailing experiences to those that may not have had the opportunity if not for each persons generosity.
Every year the Big Lottery Fund gives out millions of pounds from the National Lottery to good causes. Their money goes to community groups and to projects that improve health, education and the environment. For more information click here.
